SEED BEAD BRACELETS

☆STEPS☆

  1. Make a tiny loop in the wire about an inch from the end. About the diameter of a bead.

  2. Hold the loop firmly in one hand and take the short bit of wire in the other. Twist it around the long part. Try to keep it nice and perpendicular. It won't turn out that way but the closer the better. Think of a spring. You are making the top coil.

  3. Keep wrapping. Go for about five or six coils. They should be tight around the long wire and all nice and perpendicular. It might help to push the coils together but it might also make it worse. This part sucks so much I'm getting annoyed just writing it.

  4. You will probably have a tail at the end. It doesn't matter how long it is. Try to pinch it close to the long wire so it's parallel-ish.

  5. Exhale the frustration from that whole task. It's fun now.

  6. Put your beads on! Keep going! Check how long it is by wrapping it around your wrist and subtracting approximately the length of the safety pin, plus just a tiny smidge more.

  7. Now the sucky bit again. Thread the wire thru the circle end of the safety pin. Now do that wrappy thing again (steps 1-3).

  8. Tuck the tail under the beads. It probably won't fit perfectly and will poke out a little in between them. The other end is probably doing this too. Clip them as needed to avoid injury or getting caught on things.

  9. Noice. You're all done. Put it on by putting your wrist on top of the free end and trying to catch the little loop with the safety pin. Remember this craft fondly and accidentally do it several more times despite swearing you never will every time you have to wrap the wire.
